Sunday School

Our Sunday School is one moment during which, we furnish ourselves with the undiluted word of God for growth, and for ensuring our allegiance to Christ is being constantly reviewed and renewed with the aid of the scriptures.

Sunday: 10:00am
Is the time when we come together as a Church to celebrate Christ in us, which is the hope of glory! It is our moment to connect with Christ Jesus-our Personal Lord and Savior, and to lay it all at His feet. It is a moment to engage and create an environment for God to do what He does best. It is a moment to appreciate God for Who He is, and for all He has done for us as a body of Christ.
Wednesday: 7:00pm
Our Bible Study/Digging Deep is designed to teach each of our members how to live more like Christ. Every Wednesday of the week, we dig deep into the word of God in a way time will never permit us to do during normal Sunday service. And, we learn how a selfless, others-focused life is not only what God has called us into, but also the most fulfilling life any believer can have. Our Digging Deep is not necessarily about the level of the information you will be given, but more about the encounter you will have with the information you are given. This is achieved through the examination of biblical truth that engages our members in every area of their lives — spirit, emotion, intellect, and even body. Please join us every Wednesday of the week from 7pm to 8.30pm
First Friday of the month: 8:00pm
This is the period of intense praise, worship and prayer where Holy Communion is served. There is a saying that, a family that prays together, stays together. As a family Church, prayer night vigil is one of the most significant things we do at HGE to cultivate unity in our midst. The Bible says in Psalm 133:1 “Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” There is a unity of purpose to those who are partners in Christ and share spiritual life in Him. We have no doubt that there is a different atmosphere in churches that pray together, and who have praying people. We have found out that praying together invokes the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit in our midst. And, it also enables us to stay true to God’s Word and His will in the face of modern life’s challenges, even as we clothe ourselves in God’s armor.
