USHERING DEPARTMENT

We greet people as they arrive inside the Church auditorium and help them find seats and accommodate the needs of our guests. An Usher is generally recognized as a door keeper and a tenderer of God’s vineyard. This perspective is quite correct, al-be-it limited. We are also the caregivers/caretakers of the church members and visitors during service, and our duties are patterned after clear precepts in the Bible. For example, God appointed Adam to keep and dress/care for, the Garden of Eden at the very beginning (Gen 2:15).
