Pastor (Dr.) Ibi Omewah, EdD, LPC-S, NCC
Pastor (Dr.) Ibi Omewah, is the President/CEO at Odein Counseling and Rehab LLC-a practice that incorporates faith-based counseling for those who desire Christian Counseling. She is a National Board Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor. She provides individual, couple and group therapies. She has worked with several mentally ill patients of different race and ethnicity, including the homeless, and those recovering from substance abuse, since 2008. Her services are provided in a safe and quiet office environment. In addition to outpatient care, she also provides in-home psychotherapy to adults, children and families in foster care settings.
Pastor (Dr.) Ibi Omewah, has a Doctorate Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision and is licensed as a Professional Counselor Supervisor by Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. She integrates mind, body, and spirit in counseling men, women, couples and children. Her theoretical orientation is from an eclectic approach using different theoretical methods, such as Cognitive-Behavior therapy, Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Solution focused method etc. However, she mainly uses holistic approach in applying a Cognitive Behavioral Methodology to treat clients with Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Issues, Anger Management, Grief & Loss, Self-esteem Issues, Stress Management, Christian Pre-marital and Marital Counseling, Parenting, Domestic Violence, Family and Recovery, Women Issues, Substance abuse issues and other issues. Pastor (Dr.) Ibi Omewah, like her husband, has been heavily involved in the work of the kingdom for more than 40 years.
